The Bluebird School

What?

The Bluebird School opens its doors in Boulder, Colorado this fall. This will be a 100% free songwriting and performing program. Though the program focuses on the children of Colorado teachers, first responders, and mental health professionals, all may apply.

Proceeds from the Bluebird Music Festival fund the school. For additional information, please email futureartsfoundation@gmail.com

The Lost Bluebird

After 12 years as a nonprofit organization, IT'S HAPPENING! The Future Arts Foundation 501(c)3 is opening a brick-and-mortar location called The Lost Bluebird!

The Lost Bluebird will host the work of Colorado artists, feature local musicians, have monthly dinners and concerts, and even have an espresso bar in-house. It will also be the new home of The Bluebird School, a 100% admission-free music school for students wanting to learn songwriting and performing.

To celebrate this announcement, we have launched a special online auction with some of our musical friends, to raise some funds to make this endeavor as special as possible! Scroll down to check out the auction items.

And yes. We have already secured the lease for The Lost Bluebird. What we can tell you is that:

  • it will be in Boulder County

  • it will be a short drive from where the Bluebird Music Festival takes place

  • it will open its doors this summer

  • we will be announcing the exact location with a fun announcement this June
